The service
topporation provides a sea distance calculator and a dry bulk freight rate estimator through Bulker-Freight-Distance. The tools are currently free behind a free account.
Your account
Give accurate registration details, keep your password private and do not share an account for automated or bulk use. We may disable an account that abuses the service or attempts to bypass its access controls.
Estimates are not quotes
Routes, voyage times and freight rates are estimates produced from general data and assumptions. They cannot check a vessel's draft, berth limits, weather, congestion or every commercial term. Verify important decisions with your broker, agent or other professional before fixing a voyage.
Acceptable use
Do not scrape the site, run automated bulk searches, resell its output as your own data feed, interfere with the service or try to gain access to another account.
Availability and responsibility
The service is provided as available and may change or be interrupted. To the extent permitted by law, topporation is not responsible for a commercial loss caused by relying on an estimate as though it were a confirmed quote. Nothing here removes rights that applicable law gives you.
